GPS or Global Positioning System is designed to give you the position of a unit (a vehicle, or a device), and of course, yourself anywhere in the world by using signals sent by GPS enabled devices to and received from satellites.

GPS enabled devices like mobile phones, watches or telematics devices receives signals from GPS Satellites that roams the Earth’s orbit. This GPS enabled devices then calculates and determines its location based on the received signals. Once the device’s position has been determined, the GPS unit can calculate other information, such as speed, bearing, track, trip distance, distance to destination, time and more.

SafeSat mobile tracker is a real time tracking application installed in smartphones which uses  satellite technology.

SafeSat SatBox is a telematics device installed in vehicles provided by Satellite GPS Tracking and Management System Corporation. This gathers information about the vehicles status and whereabouts.

SafeSat Mobile Tracker application is installed in smart phones. This logs every event or location of the user and sends this data to the server. The location or the path travelled by the user being tracked can then be viewed in real-time.

Apart from the SafeSat SatBox installed in the vehicle, sensors are also installed. The SafeSat SatBox  gathers vehicle information from the installed sensors. Different sensor logs different data. For example fuel sensor logs data of the fuel level, speedometer provides data for the vehicle speed, and GPS sensor provides data of the vehicle’s location. Once data are obtained, the SatBox then sends them to the server which will allow users to be informed of the vehicle’s current situation.

It can tell the user’s location, travelled path, speed, idle time, status of battery and signal in real time.

The SafeSat SatBox can tell the vehicle’s location, travelled path, speed, idle time, harsh acceleration and braking, and the fuel level.

SafeSat generates different kinds of reports like Personnel/Vehicle Event Details, Personnel/Vehicle Group Event Details, Total Kilometer Run and Fuel Consumption. This also plots the location and the path travelled by the personnel or vehicle in a map.

Vehicle or Personnel Tracking – allows you to track personnel or vehicle individually or by group.

Notification and Alerts – receive notifications like low battery or disconnection from power source, overspeeding, arrival and departure from a location, harsh acceleration, sudden breaking, and idling.

Set Geo Zones – set predetermined locations and be notified for arrival and departure of a vehicle or a personnel.

Speed Limits – set speed limits and be notified when vehicle speed exceeds the set maximum speed.

Remote Camera Capture – allows you to remotely trigger the camera to take images.

Auto Answer Call for Registered Numbers – allows you to call the SatBox or the smartphone where the mobile tracker is installed and be answered immediately.

Reports – allows you to generate reports like Vehicle/Personnel Event Details, Vehicle/Personnel Group Event Reports, Fuel Consumption and Total Kilometer Run.

The only limitation is when a GPS enabled device cannot receive or detect signals sent by GPS Satellites.

Internet connection is needed so that data captured will be sent to the server.

The SafeSat Mobile Tracker can be installed similar to how the applications are installed in smartphones.

We only require subscription fee for the service we provide. No need to buy any software. All you need is an internet capable device with a browser to be able to log-in into the system.

The SatBox does not need to face the sky directly. If the SatBox is to be concealed, the antennas need to be exposed for it to detect and receive GPS signals. SatBox devices are usually installed under the dashboard.

Yes, it will work within the Philippines and outside the Philippines.  Since it uses Satellite signals, it will work anywhere in the world as long as GPS signal can be detected.

What is required is any device be it computer or tablet that has a browser to be able to track your vehicle or personnel.

Yes, SafeSat has a feature to generate vehicle or personnel logged events, and also generate graphical reports.

Yes, as long as you have an internet capable device with a browser and a reliable internet connection
